Yoga for Peace of Mind – Preparing the Ground

After spending the summer growing my best crop of vegetables yet (helped by the amazing hot sun!), this term’s course theme which I have been working with myself seems to make perfect sense!

Preparing the Ground/Mind!
The gardeners amongst us realise the importance of preparing the soil to create the best conditions for healthy growth. Likewise, our own internal starting point can really make a big difference to our state of being. This term we will be investigating the ‘weeds’ and trying out some ‘feeds’ in our yoga practice to see the effects on our ability to release mental/physical tension and develop strength but most importantly on our everyday life! Who knows – we may even experience some glimpses of inner peace, comfort and joy – just in time for Christmas!!
